Randal J. Wilson, CPA, joined the Feinberg School January 6 as senior associate dean for finance and budget, replacing Heather Haberaecker, who left the medical school last year. Wilson came to Northwestern from the University of Colorado Hospital, where he had been director of finance and controller since August 1997. He previously served as controller for University Physicians, Inc., the multispecialty physician group practice for the University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty; financial planning analyst for the New England Medical Center in Boston; and senior associate for the health care management consulting firm ECG Management Consultants. Wilson's hospital experience includes three years as controller for All Saints Episcopal Hospitals in Fort Worth, Texas, and six years with Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, where he served as director of accounting.
In announcing Wilson's appointment, Jeffrey Miller, senior executive associate dean and chief operating officer at the medical school, remarked, "Randy has broad experience in planning, budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis. He will be invaluable to us as we strive to become a great contemporary academic medical center." |
