Congratulations to the following Feinberg School staff members who received Service Excellence Awards in 2005 and were honored at a luncheon on January 18: Nicholas Griffiths, finance, budget, and payroll; Tom Hancko and Annette Kinsella, clinical research center; Chris Loertscher, rheumatology; Jose Narvaez, preventive medicine; Seletta Nichols, healthcare studies; and Michelle Pattison, cancer center. Celebrating recent long-term service anniversaries at the medical school are Kathleen E. Harris, allergy, with 40 years, and Donna Kellogg, cell and molecular biology, and Sharon Stafford, urology, each with 25 years. Twenty-year veterans include Julia Hsiao, Galter Library; Cynthia Meroz, physiology; Valarie Thomas, surgery; and Kegiang Wang, pathology, while 15-year celebrants include David Ivancic, surgery; Annette Lyles, neurology; and Marjorie Yakich, ophthalmology. Completing 10 years are Danielle Aeschbacher, cell and molecular biology; Grace Carlson-Lund and Claudia Chambers, both preventive medicine; Isabel Diaz, Galter Library; Amy Flores, cardiovascular research institute; Renee Martinez, medical education; John Miller, radiology; and Kimberly Thedford, preventive medicine.
