Stem Cell Research Program Planned for October 8 With stem cell research continuing to dominate the news in this election year, Feinberg School students and faculty and staff members will have an opportunity to learn more from one of the leaders in the field: Jack Kessler, MD, chair of the Ken and Ruth Davee Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurological Sciences. Sponsored by the Staff Relations Committee, a brown-bag lunch presentation is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m., October 8, in Turnbull Auditorium, 303 East Chicago Avenue, Ward 1-074, with refreshments to follow. Dr. Kessler, who is the Benjamin and Virginia T. Boshes Professor of Neurology and director of the Feinberg Clinical Neurosciences Research Institute, has spoken frequently on the topic of stem cell research in presentations around the country and in testimony before Congress. |
