Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

Focus of Work


I completed my BA with honors in biophysics from Johns Hopkins, MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and two residencies (one in pathology, one in psychiatry) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am now an Assistant Professor of psychiatry at Northwestern and do a mixture of inpatient and outpatient treatment as well as academic research.

Academic Focus

I am the principal investigator and co-principal investigator of multiple clinical trials in patients with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia

Clinical Focus

Treatment-resistant mood disorders, geriatric psychiatry, eating disorders, women's mental health
