Focus of Work
I completed all of my medical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland, and also completed a Masters from the Bloomberg School of Public Health in health sciences. My recent research has focused on response to vaccination in patients with chronic kidney disease and post transplantation. I have also been involved in quality improvement studies to better recognize and prevent acute kidney injury (AKI).
I am interested in better recognition of acute kidney injury (AKI) using biomarkers and clinical algorithms, with the goal of both improved treatment as well as prevention of AKI.
My clinical interests include, but are not limited to, acute kidney injury, end stage kidney disease and dialysis, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and nephrotic syndrome.
