Description of Interests

My research primarily focuses on the role of the hippocampus in memory function. I am also interested in cortical-hippocampal interactions that support memory formation, modification, and retrieval. To this end, I use a variety of methods, including non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS), fMRI, EEG, eye-movement tracking, and behavior to study memory and relevant networks in healthy and memory-impaired individuals.
