My clinical interests include providing evidence-based care in the diagnosis and management of food allergy, asthma and immunodeficiency. My research interests include food allergy, atopic march, and asthma. In particular, I am interested in elucidating the mechanisms that underlie the development of natural tolerance to foods so as to contribute to improved tools to evaluate current therapies as well as potentially develop novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of food allergies. My research interests include food allergy, atopic march, and asthma. In particular, I am interested in elucidating the mechanisms that underlie the development of natural tolerance to foods so as to contribute to improved tools to evaluate current therapies as well as potentially develop novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of food allergies. I am also currently involved in clinical trials examining oral immunotherapy and other novel treatment modalities for the treatment of food allergies as well as asthma trials seeking to optimize care and improve our understanding of inner-city asthma.[Shorten text]
