- the epigenetic regulation of Klotho in cigarette smoke extract-induced lung epithelial cell DNA damage and lung diseases (e.g. lung fibrosis, COPD..).
- the role of SIRT3 in maintaining AT2 cell mtDNA by preserving mt-OGG1/ ACO-2 function important for limiting AEC mitophagy defects, apoptosis and lung fibrosis.
