Rachel Robison, MD completed her undergraduate training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA obtaining a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and received her medical degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She moved to Chicago, IL in 2005 to complete her postgraduate residency training in Pediatrics and a subsequent fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the former Children's Memorial Hospital. She is currently a Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Robison participates in clinical research at Lurie Children's in asthma and food allergy. Dr. Robison is board certified in both Pediatrics and in Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.[Shorten text]

Academic Focus

My current research interests include clinical trials for food allergy and asthma. This includes therapeutic immunotherapy trials for food allergy including OIT (oral immunotherapy)and EPIT (epicutaneous immunotherapy or patch therapy). I am also involved in therapy trials for asthma focusing on addressing gaps in the current asthma guidelines. Prior research has focused on the epidemiology of early childhood wheezing.

Clinical Focus

My clinical interests include the treatment and diagnosis of food allergy, drug allergies, angioedema, urticaria and childhood wheezing/ asthma.
