My main research interest is the elucidation of molecular mechanisms uderlying cell motility with particular focus on the motile reactions of cardiovascular cells such as vascular endothelial and smooth muscle cells and cardiomyocytes. Another interest related to previous one is to discover and design substances which affect cells motile reactions and which could be applied as the novel therapies to the wide range of diseases where the motile behaviour of cells is compromised. Another interest related to previous one is to discover and design substances which affect cells motile reactions and which could be applied as the novel therapies to the wide range of diseases where the motile behaviour of cells is compromised. Additionally, my lab is interested in discovery of master genes of cardiomyogenesis that could be used to govern directed differentiation of precursor cells into cardiomyocytes for the sake of therapeutic heart repair.[Shorten text]
