My primary areas of research interests and clinical expertise are psychiatric and cognitive problems of children with epilepsy and other neurological disorders, as well as diagnosis and treatment of psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. I have developed multidisciplinary clinical service model to provide effective comprehensive treatment for children suffering from comorbid neurological and psychiatric illnesses. This clinical program provides guidance and assistance in their transition to adulthood. It also offers a unique training environment for fellows in child psychiatry and neurology.
