The Engman Laboratory conducts research in several areas: (1) Molecular genetics and cell biology of tropical parasitic infections with a focus on trypanosomes, single-celled eukaryotic pathogens causing including African Sleeping Sickness, Chagas Disease and Leishmaniasis.
