Focus of Work
Application of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation to treat pediatric diseases--hematologic and immunologic diseases, select congenital metabolic diseases as well as high-risk malignancies. Expand the indications for Stem Cell transplantation as cellular therapy for other diseases/organ dysfunction. Utilize Stem Cell Transplantation as a platform for cellular therapies for inherited and acquired diseases.
Foster collaborative studies to improve the immunologic recovery and quality of life for patients undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.
