Compression Fracture

This is a lateral spine film from a 63 year old female who fell three weeks ago and has been complaining of lower back pain. Note the compression fractures of T12, L2, and L4. The patient was neurologically intact.

This is an image of a 74 year old patient with chronic lumbar back pain. Radiology had comparison film and noted that L2 had worsened from comparison films and T12 was a new fracture. The patient did not recall a fall.
