Undergraduate:  The Ohio State University

Navneet Cheema graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, where she was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Outstanding Scholarship from the College of Arts of Sciences, as well as numerous academic scholarships. In 2006, she organized a medical services relief trip to Guatemala to provide acute care to indigenous Mayan populations who survived Hurricane Stan. She was the editor of Feinberg Footnotes, a rally organizer for Smoke Free Chicago, and a member of the Academic Review Committee. Navneet was a research assistant with Northwestern’s Blum Cardiovascular Institute, as well as a participant in the prestigious Research Thesis Program, earning nomination to graduate with distinction in research. She is a member of the  Mirrors Honorary, for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.
