Emily Doelger, MD

Undergraduate:  Georgetown University

Emily Doelger is a member of the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University and was awarded the Georgetown Scholastic Achievement Award. She worked as a Pediatric ICU nurse at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles for several years before medical school. Emily has served as a medical volunteer for a diverse group of organizations, including Wanghetti Aboriginal School (Australia), Jeff-HOPE & ARS-MEDICA (Philadelphia), AIDSVAX Research Program (Washington, DC), and the Chabahil Family Clinic (Nepal). Her research endeavors resulted in a poster presentation at the 2006 American Heart Association Scientific Session.
