Jennifer Van Dahm (Locke) Medical School: Wayne State Undergrad: Northwestern
| Jennifer is a member of AOA and was a graduate with high distinction as well. She earned the Academic Achievement Award her Junior year as well as the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation and the Junior Scholarship Award in Surgery. During medical school she worked with Teach Peace as a classroom leader and helped to teach children conflict resolution skills and knowledge. She also volunteered for Matthei Physicals which provided sports physical exams for Detroit students. While an undergrad at Northwestern Jennifer served on the Executive Board and as Financial Co-Chairwoman for the Northwestern University Dance Marathon which is the largest student run philanthropy in the nation. Her research background includes work with myelodysplastic syndromes after bone marrow transplant. Jennifer’s interests include running, soccer, hiking, skiing, and Frisbee golf. |
