Congratulations to Sarah and Joe Donlan - their daughter Alexandra "Alexa" DeBoer Donlan was born May 12, 2009.  Alexa weighed in at 7lbs, 1oz and was 19.5" long.  Both Mom and Alexa are doing great!

Congratulations on both there new appointments to Dr. Peter Pang as Associate Chief, Clinical Affairs and Dr. Mike Schmidt as Medical Director, Clinical Operations in the Department of Emergency Medicine.


Congratulations to Dr. Dave Zich, who was named an outstanding teacher by the students on the Internal Medicine, when he was on the teaching service in October.

Congratulations to Dr. Wang, et al and Dr. Van Roo et al authored some the top 10 downloaded articles from AEM in 2008. Wang's was "The Emergent Cricothyrotomy" and Dr. Van Roo's was  "Central Venous Catheterization-Right Internal Jugular Approach"

These video procedures have proven to be very popular.
