Northwestern Chicago Out Network

Chicago Out Network

Northwestern Chicago Out Network is the campus- and affiliate-wide networking group for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) identified individuals and allies. The group began several years ago informally meeting after work and quickly became a regular social networking group for the support and encouragement of LGBT faculty, staff, students, fellows, and residents on the Northwestern Chicago campus. It currently draws participants from the medical school, law school, graduate school, affiliated hospitals and clinics. Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Northwestern University, Ann and Robert H. Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and OUTLaw support the group's quarterly meetings. It is our collective hope that providing a sponsorship for faculty, staff, and students who identify as LGBT or allies will ensure that our campus and affiliates have welcoming and inclusive environments.

Our group sponsors multiple networking and connection opportunities throughout the academic year for members of the Northwestern Chicago campus community.
