Norm D. Smith, MD

Associate Professor, Chief of Urologic Oncology

Dr. Smith is Associate Professor of Urology and a native of Lead, South Dakota. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1990 and then obtained his MD from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery and urology residency training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Smith's clinical interests include urologic oncology and diseases of the prostate. His research interests include mediators of angiogenesis in kidney cancer and testicular factors contributing to BPH and prostate cancer.
