RIC/NU Alumni Reception
This event is held for alumni of the RIC residency program at the annual American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) Annual Assembly.  This event provides attendees at the AAPM&R conference a chance to reunite and mingle with peers and fellow alumni.

This year's RIC/NU Alumni Reception at the AAPM&R Annual Assembly will take place at the Austin Hilton in Austin, Texas. It will be on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 7pm to 10pm in Salon D on the 4th Floor. Dr.  Joel Press will be hosting this event.

Department Holiday Party
Held in December for residents, attending physicians and their families, festivities take place at various locations each year.

Annual Research Day & Sarah Baskin Research Awards Presentation
Held in June, this is an oppurtunity to learn about the research that takes place at RIC and to recognize our graduating senior residents and research fellows who achieved research excellence.

Department Graduation
Celebration of the graduation of the PGY-4s held every June.

RICNIC
Annual summer picnic for residents and their families.

Special Events Coverage
Residents have provided event coverage for the Chicago Marathon, Ravinia Performing Arts Festival, and the Wirtz Sport Program for athletes with disabilities
