  • Becton  Dickinson FACS-Calibur & FACSort

Two laser (488nm-argon & 635nm-red diode) analytical benchtop systems designed to support the wide range of basic flow cytometric applications in up to 4 colors. They can also work in Doublet Discrimination Mode (DDM) and measure pulse height, area and width of each fluorescence parameter for those users needing to perform cell cycle analysis. Each cytometer is equipped with a Macintosh G4 workstation with OSX and CellQuest Pro acquisition software.

  • Becton  Dickinson LSRII

Three laser (488nm-argon ion, 635nm-HeNe & 355nm-solid state UV laser) benchtop system designed to support basic through advanced flow cytometric application in up to 8 colors. In the future, depending on user demands, we may additionally upgrade this system with either the addition of a violet laser (405nm), or alterting the trigon optics of the argon and the HeNe laser for the detection of an additional 2 colors. This cytometer utilizes the PC-based FACS-Diva acquisition and analysis software, although the acquired ListMode data may be analyzed in CellQuestPro or FlowJo cytometry software.
