Dr. Mancini is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and Head of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Arizona, and trained in pediatrics, pediatric dermatology and dermatology at Stanford University Medical School. Dr. Mancini is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a member of the AAP Executive Committee (Section on Dermatology), and a member of the AAP Super CME Planning Group. Dr. Mancini is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. He has served as a Grant Reviewer and sat on a Special Emphasis Panel for the National Institutes of Health, is a peer reviewer for multiple academic journals, and sits on the Editorial Board of Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Mancini has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters, and his special interests include infectious skin diseases and exanthems of childhood, vascular malformations and hemangiomas, and neonatal skin maturation. He is an Associate Editor of the comprehensive dermatology textbook, Dermatology, and co-author of Hurwitz’ Clinical Pediatric Dermatology 3rd edition.
