Contributed Services Faculty (CSF)
Northwestern Dermatology has long had a tradition of faculty in the community who provide service to the Department. Our contributed services faculty teach, participate in grand rounds, and are an important source of teaching through the referral of patients with more complex dermatologic problems and procedures, as well as biopsy material for dermatopathologic evaluation. Becoming faculty at Northwestern Dermatology is a privilege and formal criteria have been established to maintain faculty status (January 2007) and for earning new contributed services faculty privileges (January 2010).
These requirements for contributed services faculty status in Dermatology at Northwestern provide evidence of the excellence of all dermatology faculty members and assurance to patients that the Northwestern Medicine Dermatology faculty are of the highest quality.
