Sarah L. Chamlin, MD

Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology

Biography

Dr. Sarah Chamlin received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign, and completed her medical degree at Rush Medical College. She performed her residency in Pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital, followed by a year as Chief Pediatric Resident. She completed her Dermatology training at the University of California, San Francisco, where she subsequently did a research fellowship in quality of life research.

Research Interests

Dr. Chamlin currently has a Career Development Award to investigate quality of life issues in children with atopic dermatitis. She also studies the effects of facial disfigurement. Her clinical areas of interest are atopic dermatitis, hair and nail disorders, vascular and pigmented lesions, and laser surgery for vascular lesions.
