We provide a wide array of services ranging from one time consultations to collaborations lasting months or years.  We have seven faculty biostatisticians, two faculty epidemiologists and three analysts to assist in your projects.  We provide services in the following areas:

- Statistical Consultation
- Epidemiology Consultation (as part of the NUCATS TRIP collaboration)
- Programming Consultation
- Data Management Consultation
- Education and Workshops

Click on the appropriate links for a detailed explanation of what each type of consultation entails.  Initial consultations are provided free of charge due to the generosity of the Dean’s office.  Anything beyond the initial consultations will be charged at the currently hourly rate.  For more information regarding recharge rates and funding mechanisms, please visit Consultations Options and Rates.

The BCC will help you to the best of their abilities. To help you prepare and to maximize the efficiency of our interactions with you, we have composed the following guides. Please refer to them as appropriate.

Guideline Summary
Guidelines for Power Requests
Guidelines for Requests involving Transfer of Data
Guidelines for general Project Requests

Service requests should be made 4 weeks in advance of project due date (depening on the scope and complexity of the project).  Please take this timeframe into consideration when requesting for our services.  Thank you for understanding.

We look forward to hearing from you.  If you have any questions, please contact us at bcc@northwestern.edu.
