The Compliance Program sets forth the means by which Feinberg's compliance-related policies are to be implemented and monitored.
Feinberg's Program is based on guidance from the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG); the OIG suggests that every effective compliance program begin with a formal commitment to the seven elements of compliance. These are based on and expand upon the seven steps of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. Feinberg's Program shall, thus, provide for the following:
- Standards of Conduct/Policies and Procedures
- Organizational Structure - Compliance Officer and Compliance Committee
- Education
- Monitoring and Auditing
- Reporting and Investigating
- Enforcement and Discipline
- Response and Prevention
For additional detail regarding the above-listed components, please contact the Office for Regulatory Affairs at (312) 503-2855.
