The Cell Imaging Facility is located on the 2nd floor of Searle and Morton Buildings, within the Chicago campus of Northwestern University. Please click on one the appropriate links below to see how to get to the facility.

Intercampus Shuttle Bus
If you are coming from the Evanston campus, the easiest way is to take the intercampus shuttle bus. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the Ward building.


Driving Directions
From I-90/94: Exit at East Ohio Street, merge into far left lane, and turn left at the first traffic light onto Orleans Avenue, going north. Merge into the far right lane and turn right at West Erie Street, going east. At Dearborn Street (a one way street) turn left and go two blocks north. Turn right at Superior Street, drive five blocks east, cross Fairbanks Court, and the Ward building backdoor is on the left side. Entry is through the Method Atrium at 310 East Superior Street.


Lake Shore Drive: Coming from the north on southbound Lake Shore Drive, stay in the far right lane and exit at Chestnut Street. Proceed two blocks west and turn left at Mies Van Der Rohe Way. Go two blocks south and turn left at Chicago Avenue. The Ward Building is on the right at 303 East Chicago Avenue.


Coming from the south on northbound Lake Shore Drive, stay in the far left lane and exit left at Chicago Avenue. Please consult campus map below for parking. Another good place to park is the parking lot of the Museum of Contemporary Arts, which is just across the street from the medical school campus and the entrance to the Ward building
