The Cell Imaging Facility is located on the second floors of Morton and Searle Buildings at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, in downtown Chicago.

The Cell Imaging Facility is generously supported by Northwestern University Office of Research, Feinberg School of Medicine, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the NU Department of Cell & Molecular Biology.

The Cell Imaging Facility is proud to receive the Northwestern University Office for Research Outstanding Core Facility Award for: 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

This website provide informative guide to our portfolio of more than 30 services. Users are encouraged to discuss their project design and experimental needs with the facility staff prior to using the facility.

You can send the completed application form to the facility staff you have consulted and we will set up your account and schedule you for training.

Users who need to utilize laser-based instruments (confocals and laser microdissection system) will also be required to take the ISIS laser safety course as required by the State of Illinois. Click on the laser safety link below.
