Michael Wolf, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Center for Healthcare Studies at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a faculty fellow at the Institute for Health Services Research and Policy Studies, and on senior staff for the Chicago V.A. Healthcare System’s Midwest Center for Health Services and Policy Research. Dr. Wolf is an alumni of Valparaiso University, earned his PhD at the University of Illinois, and MPH at Northwestern University. Prior to his current position at the Center, Dr. Wolf received post-doctoral training in health services research at the Institute for Health Services Research and Policy Studies, which culminated in his receiving the Pfizer Health Literacy Initiative Scholar’s Award. He is also a member of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, and has recently received the Coleman Foundation Young Investigator Fellowship for conducting cancer research. Dr. Wolf’s research interests focus on the reduction of health disparities, health communication, HIV/AIDS and cancer prevention, and health promotion.
