Each year, the Department of Anesthesiology honors three faculty with a Golden Apple Teaching Award. A teaching award from the CA 1, 2, and 3 resident classes is given. In addition, the whole resident body gives a “Most Outstanding Educator of the Year” award to one faculty member. The newly-elected chief residents coordinate the nomination process with their resident peers, and a member from each resident class presents an award.
