Patient Simulation Center

As part of the Critical Care Clerkship for 4th year medical students, the Patient Simulation Center helps students develop the necessary skills to provide exemplary critical care through effective communication and appropriate patient assessment, evaluation, and protection.  Using a state-of-the-art mechanical "patient," students learn to recognize clinical patterns, determine intervention, evaluate response, and generate new hypotheses and diagnostic/treatment strategies.
