The purpose of the Medical Alumni Association (MAA) National Board is to foster among its members, a spirit of loyalty, professional interaction, mentoring, and philanthropy so as to help ensure the continued success of the medical school as a leader in education, research, and patient care.
The MAA National Board consists of at least 30 members, 10 of whom are from the Chicago area and 20 of whom live at least 75 miles from Chicago. Irrespective of geography, five members will be graduates of 10 years or less from the medical school. Also included are two student leaders.
Board members serve two-year terms with eligibility to serve additional terms. The Board meets twice a year on campus – in the fall and during Alumni Weekend in the spring. Committee work is ongoing throughout the year. Meet our current members.
