I am pleased to announce that Philip Greenland, MD, the Harry W. Dingman Professor and Chair, Department of Preventive Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, will assume a newly created position in the Feinberg School as Executive Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Greenland will begin the new duties as of September 1, 2005. He will continue to hold the Dingman Professorship and will maintain his research activities within the Department of Preventive Medicine. He will also continue as Editor of Archives of Internal Medicine. While serving as Dean for Clinical and Translational Research, Dr. Greenland will no longer hold the position of Department Chair. The Department will be led by Interim Chair, Rowland Chang, MD, MPH, Professor of Preventive Medicine and of Medicine, and Director of the MPH Program. |
