ATTENTION APPLICIANTS:

We are pleased to inform you that the 2012-2013 application materials are now available! Links to the application forms are listed below. Please be certain to choose the appropriate application form and read all instructions carefully.


Please note that the “Forms” page of the website still contains forms for the 2011-12 academic year. These are for use by students who are currently rotating or will rotate prior to June 15, 2012 only. If you are applying for the 2012-13 academic year, please make sure you are using the 2012-13 forms only.


You may submit your 12-13 application at any time, (but no earlier than 6 months prior to your earliest requested rotation).

 Please review the following important information! 

  • Please note that we receive a large volume of mail on a daily basis. We are currently reviewing applications and other mail received on May 11, 2012. We appreciate your patience.


  • Applications are sent to departments for review in the order they were received and complete.

  • All applicants are asked to review the FAQ regarding application processing and Visiting Student Program policies prior to beginning the application process. Most of your questions will be answered here.

  • Credit Card is the only accepted method of payment.  Checks, money orders and bank drafts cannot be accepted.

  • Please do not call the Visiting Student Office to check on the status of your application. Do not contact departments, coordinators or faculty regarding your application. You may contact our office at visitingstudents@northwestern.edu no earlier than 30 days after you have received the email notification that your application has begun review by the department(s) to inquire as to the status.
