Letters of RecommendationA letter of recommendation on a student's behalf serves to provide valuable information to program directors. You will need several letters of recommendation for your application. Each program requests a specific number. Usually a total of three to four letters are required in addition to the MSPE. Often, one of the three is expected to be from the Department Chair. Please check with each program and their requirements before sending letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation are scanned and put into your file within 3-4 days of receipt. Please ask your letter writers to have ALL letters in our office no later than September 1st, 2012. NOTE: Be sure to give letter writers the deadline for your letters of recommendation. Programs will not interview you unless your file is complete.
