Description:  The Pisacano Leadership Foundation seeks to advance the field of family medicine by providing well- educated, community-minded leaders in the primary care movement by aiding students who demonstrate the highest levels of commitment to family medicine, scholarship, leadership, character, interpersonal skills, and community service, the PLF will promote the development of the future leaders in family medicine.

Eligibility:  Open only to applicants entering their 4th year of medical school in fall 2007 who have declared Family Practice as their medical specialty.

Award Amount: Maximum award of $28,000.

Duration/Location of Program:  Student must enter Family Practice Residency Program
