Various research fellowships, scholarships and award programs require that a neutral party must hold an applicant's letters of recommendation until the application packet is ready for submission to the program.

Upon request, Linda Daniels, Coordinator for Student Support Services, will maintain a Collection File to store Letters of Recommendation/Support that students have solicited from faculty members and others until the application packet is ready to submit to the program/organization.

Please note: It is the student's responsibility to remind letter writers of upcoming deadlines and where to forward their letters of recommendation.  By participating in the Collection File process, the student waives the right to view letters of recommendation held in their file. The letters held in the collection file will be submitted directly to the program.
